Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September, in the city of Ferrara, will be held the event“Giardini Aperti – Ferrara 2021“, organized by Interno Verde. Two days dedicated to the curious, to those who in front of a closed door begin to dream of gardens that they cannot see.
The event allows you to explore the most evocative and curious private gardens of the historic center of Este, through which you can read the history, changes and experiences of the city. The initiative will be enriched by an itinerary dedicated to the marvellous landscape that opens up just beyond the walls, dotted with villas, parks, reclamation plants and rural sanctuaries.
The program will include: river trips, performances and art installations, guided tours, thematic meetings, workshops for children, exhibitions and musical moments.
Program of the event:
On both Saturday and Sunday, the gardens will be open from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm. Everyone will be able to choose independently which places to visit and build their own itinerary through the city. Those registered will be given a bracelet that will allow access to the gardens, the map and the programme of activities. The 170-page book containing photographs and historical, architectural and botanical information on the places to be discovered will also be available free of charge (while copies last).
